Physical law behind some physical effects

AI Thread Summary
The discussion focuses on identifying the physical laws that explain various physical effects, including resonance, adhesion, heat strain, and others. Participants suggest that researching each term individually will yield a deeper understanding than simply receiving a list of answers. The conversation emphasizes the importance of engaging with the material for better comprehension. Additionally, specific laws such as Newton's law of motion and Amonton's law are mentioned as examples of how to approach the inquiry. Engaging with these concepts through research is encouraged for effective learning.

Can anyone tell me the physical law which is behind certain physical effects?

1. Resonance
2. Adhesion
3. Heat strain
4. Lever effect
5. Surface tension
6. Cutting/Bending
7. Evaporation
8. sublimation
9. Weissenburg effect
10. Torsion

It would be really helpful for my research. Thank you.

example: Physical law behind Linear acceleration is Newton's law of motion (or) Law behind Static friction is Amonton's law and Coulumb's law.

This sounds a bit like some homework task. Why not Google around each term and soak up some useful information? You'll get much more out of doing it that way than by getting a list of answers from someone else.

Assume that this is a case where by sheer coincidence, two sources of coherent single-frequency EM wave pulses with equal duration are both fired in opposing directions, with both carrying the same frequency and amplitude and orientation. These two waves meet head-on while moving in opposing directions, and their phases are precisely offset by 180 degrees so that each trough of one wave meets with the crest of the other. This should be true for both the electric and magnetic components of...
