Trouble Posting Links on DELTA Thread

AI Thread Summary
Users are experiencing issues posting links on the DELTA thread, specifically with cursor visibility and text input failures. One user reported needing to log out and back in to successfully paste content. It was suggested that the editor might be in the wrong mode, as there are three similar states that affect link insertion. The correct mode for marking and inserting links is believed to be when both preview and BB code are turned off. Overall, users may need to consider device upgrades or editor settings to resolve these posting challenges.

This could be my Hudl (old)
I tried to reply to Ivan on the DELTA thread with my text, one link and a paste from a paper. When I tried to paste the curser failed to flash and when I typed no characters appeared. I had to come out go in again (didn't work) log out then finally paste. This has happened before and wanted to see if anyone else has this. I probably need a better device. Thanks.

It could be the case that the editor was in the wrong mode. There are three states that look very similar: preview ON/OFF, toggle BB code ON/OFF. However, only one of them allows a mark and insert link operation (I think it is preview=OFF, BB code=OFF). And if you switch from one mode to another, it loses track of what has been marked.

No other staff had any knowledge. During the past several months, to counter declining engagement, I experimented with generative AI, intending to add value to "thin threads", especially those with 0 replies. The thread AI experiments were as follows: Discussion summary above the OP Topical FAQ at...
