AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on the factors influencing a boat's trajectory as it passes under a bridge. One participant observed a boat sailing directly beneath the bridge and questioned how its trajectory would change based on their position or movement. Another contributor suggested that the observer's speed does not affect the boat's passage, emphasizing that the boat's trajectory is independent of the observer's location. They recommended using vector analysis in three dimensions to better understand the geometry involved. The conversation highlights the complexities of analyzing motion in relation to fixed structures like bridges.

When I went today after the bridge over the river, I thought... It's about how I see the situation. I noticed that just below me (under the bridge) was situated bow boat, sailing directly under the bridge. For how long, the boat will be on second side?
How will the solution be different if I go on evenly, from a case if I stood on the spot? How to express numerically? It will be something very complicated geometry, or what will?

Thanks very much... And sorry for my bad English.

Hi Numeriprimi!

If you are walking across the bridge, and the boat is sailing along the river,

then i don't see how your speed will make any difference to when any part of the boat crosses under the bridge.

How does the boat know you are there?

I recommend using vector analysis in 3 dimensions.

Thread 'Is there a white hole inside every black hole?'
This is what I am thinking. How much feasible is it? There is a white hole inside every black hole The white hole spits mass/energy out continuously The mass/energy that is spit out of a white hole drops back into it eventually. This is because of extreme space time curvature around the white hole Ironically this extreme space time curvature of the space around a white hole is caused by the huge mass/energy packed in the white hole Because of continuously spitting mass/energy which keeps...
