What is the ideal indoor temperature for winter?

In summary, the ideal indoor temperature for winter is generally considered to be between 68-72 degrees Fahrenheit. This temperature range provides a balance of warmth and energy efficiency, as well as reducing the risk of health issues such as hypothermia or respiratory problems. However, the ideal temperature may vary depending on personal preferences and factors such as insulation, climate, and cost. It is important to find a comfortable and safe temperature for your household during the colder months.

How did you find PF?
Found this site online actually by mistske
I found this site by mistake. It looked very interesting and I have questions at times in which many people don't know the answer and I always can find the answer

I tried to post this but I don't know if it went through.
If it's 68 degrees inside and it's 20degrees outside it feels warm. If it's 100degrees outside and it's 68degrees outside it feels cool. 68 is constant so why does it feel different depending on the temp outside?

LOL, good question. It's winter here where I live and our 68F inside HVAC setting feels a bit marginal.

Anyway, the New Member Introduction forum is just for intros, not for questions. Please re-post your question in the General Discussion forum to start a good discussion about this semi-technical subject.
