Not that you all suck, but, you know...
anyway, think anyone famous ever cruises in and checks out PF? I seem to remember Tim Allen saying he was into physics and there's always that goofy albino guy, what's his name, he is always trying to save the spotted rain-forest layer or something.

I'm sure M Kaku has browsed the forums every now and then. I saw Robin Williams on the actor's studio and he said that if he wasn't an actor he would've love to be a theoretical physicist, so him looking around doesn't seem far fetched either.

FAQ: Who are some famous visitors to the Physics Forums community?

How can we determine if someone is "good"?

The concept of being "good" is subjective and can vary from person to person. However, in a scientific context, we can use moral and ethical standards as well as observable behaviors and actions to evaluate someone's character and determine if they are "good".

What factors influence a person's likelihood of coming here?

There are many factors that can influence a person's decision to come to a certain place, including personal interests, convenience, social connections, and opportunities. Additionally, external factors such as cultural norms and societal expectations can also play a role.

Can someone's past behavior predict if they will come here?

While past behavior can provide some insight into a person's actions, it is not always a reliable predictor of future behavior. People can change and make different choices based on new circumstances and experiences. It is important to consider a person's current mindset and motivations rather than solely relying on their past behavior.

Is there a way to measure the "goodness" of a person who comes here?

There is no concrete way to measure the "goodness" of a person, as it is a subjective concept. However, we can use surveys, interviews, and observations to gather data on a person's behaviors and values, which can give us some insight into their character.

Are there any benefits to having "good" people come here?

The benefits of having "good" people come to a certain place can vary depending on the context. In general, having kind, ethical, and responsible individuals can contribute to a positive and harmonious environment. They may also bring new perspectives, ideas, and skills that can benefit the community or group they are part of.
