In summary, the weird typing issue is caused by a glitch in the keyboard or computer's software, a stuck key on the keyboard, or a virus/malware. To fix it, try restarting or updating the computer or keyboard, or seek professional help if necessary. A virus or malware can also cause the issue, so it is important to have good antivirus software and be cautious of online activity. Hi, I don't know the technical term for this, but you know when you type, the line thing at the end of your text blinks on and off?
Whenever I'm typing on an internet page (email, search engine, etc), instead of a line that blinks on and off, there are two highlighted (black) spaces, and whenever I go back and press backspace to delete something, two letters (instead of one) are erased.

It's not a huge problem, but it is very annoying. Any suggestions would be welcome :)

As a scientist, my first suggestion would be to try using a different keyboard or testing the same keyboard on a different computer to see if the issue persists. If the issue is still present, it could be a software issue with the browser or operating system. I would recommend clearing the cache and cookies on the web browser and updating any software that may be causing the issue. If the problem continues, it may be necessary to seek technical support from the manufacturer or a computer specialist.
