I don't see what the problem is. Some usual definitions of [tex]\pi[/tex] involve a limit, and when you write down a converging limit, you automatically define all of its infinite decimals.
It isn't relevant that it can't be visually or mentally represented to all of its decimal places, this is why we have limits and infinite series and continued fractions..., so when a mathematician writes down [tex]\pi[/tex], he means exactly this, not an approximation, not a mental truncation.
