AI Thread Summary
Many individuals experience a disconnect between their productive daytime activities and their evening routines, often feeling lost about how to unwind or engage meaningfully after work. Common practices include spending time on social media or reading news articles, which frequently fail to provide relaxation or fulfillment. Some people balance their time between hobbies, such as working on personal projects like robotics, playing video games, or spending quality time with loved ones. Engaging in challenging subjects like math and physics can also be a way to stay intellectually stimulated. Establishing a routine, such as changing clothes and practicing hygiene after work, is noted as beneficial. Additionally, incorporating regular exercise into the weekly schedule is highlighted as a significant factor in enhancing overall well-being and productivity.

I spend most of my day building parts for whatever project I have going on and then as soon as I get home I'm completely clueless on what to do next.

I turn to Facebook and news articles but it never really feels like it's relaxing or productive. Please describe your own daily routine.

Physics news on Phys.org
Usualy after i get home from class I spend majority of my time working on my robot playing halo or hanging out with my girlfriend. Although sometimes when I'm feeling extra ambitious Il spend my time learning about some of the more interesting/difficult parts of math and physics.

I take my shoes off before I enter the apartment.
Than I wash my hands thoroughly because I work with money all day and they are dirty.
I have dinner and watch my favourite TV show.

Facebook, news, followed by a realization it's not productive or relaxing :)

I do try to exercise at least a couple of times a week, though. It helps tremendously with everything else.

Thread 'In the early days of electricity, they didn't have wall plugs'
Hello scientists, engineers, etc. I have not had any questions for you recently, so have not participated here. I was scanning some material and ran across these 2 ads. I had posted them at another forum, and I thought you may be interested in them as well. History is fascinating stuff! Some houses may have had plugs, but many homes just screwed the appliance into the light socket overhead. Does anyone know when electric wall plugs were in widespread use? 1906 ad DDTJRAC Even big...
