ARe there any available online lectures on math analysis for math undergraduates? I see plenty of lectures notes on linear algebra , but none on analysis(or naked calculus , as I like to call it.)
Can anyone give me insight as to where all the online lectures for analysis are?
that can be accessed online for free that cover Calculus 2 (at least intro to integration/formal def'n of limit)? I am trying to get ahead for next semester. I have found some through Google, but I was hoping someone knew of a good one.
I have a couple of texts, but I learn much quicker...
Hi Everyone..
I want to learn some physics and I can't wait for school to teach me..
Do you know any good places on the Internet that got video lectures, or just informative movies??
Please post all the links you know :)
Thanks
Well, here's some more QM lecture notes.

The author emphasises that the reader be strong in linear algebra.
here is a site i have seen while searching for physics video lectures. Then I thought why shouldn't i share with my friends.
so is this post

I hope you like it ...
This question is addressed to (past or present) graduate students doing MSc or Phd. I am aware that there isn't any coursework for these students? Or maybe very rare amount? In my uni there isn't any for maths or physics grad students.
Do you spend most of your time doing your research? Do you...
I have always seen these books in the stores, and such, and they're 100 on amazon (which is a heck of a lot better than B&N) and i want them, but then again they'll probably shoot right over my head. I'm working through my first year of high-school physics. I have read quite a few books on...
The Feynman Lectures were recorded on audio tape. I checked out a cd version from the library to listen to as I travel to and from work. Professor Feynman's voice and accent were a surprise. It's like listening to Ed Norton from the Honeymooners.
Any recommendation? I have found this one very spectacular:

i am looking for Feynmans Lectures on physics. that book is the reason i got into that type of science. i was only 16 when i read it, but i didn't understand any of the equations in it. but now that i am more advanced in the subject i want to give it a try again. the only bad part is that...

What are the other great Nobel speech out there?
It makes lectures a waste of time. Anything you get from lectures, you can read in a book. Why can't professors do difficult problems instead in lectures, to make lectures actually WORTH IT TO COME TO? Does this have to do with the typical college student being not motivated enough to read the...
Hello!
The next academical year I am going to study physics on the university and I want to prepare for the challege. I am planing to buy the Feynman lectures of physics. At amazon.com there is three sets avalible, from 2005, form 1989 and from 1970. I can't choose, I don't know which is the...
Hello!
I am a physics student and I am interested in science. During the last

from different universities.
One day last week I decided to organize the list of bookmarks I had

Hey, guys.
Physics at my 6th form college is rather dull and I was going to ask about organising lectures and things with university fellows/researchers in the UK to increase interest in the subject and just make the next year before the rest of the year and I go off to university more...

Hey everyone,
I found an AWSOME site that broadcasts science programs for free over the internet.

If you go to Science Programmes > Vega Science Lectures > Richard Feynman you will find the lectures that he gave at the University of Auckland (New...
Need some advice, I have the tendency to fall asleep when attending the lectures. Is there anyway to help me to stay awake during lectures?
Sometimes, I just tired and fell asleep in the library, is this a bad thing? Is this acceptable?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of any online lectures on E&M at the level of Griffith's "Introduction to Electrodynamics"? Either video or audio would be fine... I'm plowing through this book on my own, and could use a little assistance.
(I know about the lectures for 18.02 at MIT OCW, but...
Hey, I am currently in 11th grade. Were studying Mechanics from Resnick & Halliday 7th edition. I'd like to know If Feynman does a better job with mechanics? (Volume one). Next year , were going to study electromagnetism, and I was planning on reading Feynman Vol II in the summer, should I or...

I am getting up in age and am often tired and discouraged about how little I know after all these years and how unlikely it is I will ever master even the foundations of my own subject before I retire.
However I heard a talk Tuesday by the great Jean Pierre Serre that somewhat rejuvenated me...
Would it be a better idea for physics lectures to cover problem solving of difficult problems, rather than doing lectures on concepts that are repeated in textbooks and can be shown in video lectures, such as the ones in MIT OCW?
of course, it may depend on who the physics lectures are geared...

I stumbled across this site quite by accident. I've never heard of the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, but they know how to party!

Are the "Feynman Lectures on Physics" books good?
I'm going into my junior year next year and wonder if these books are any good to study over the summer?
Hello Everyone,
I am aware that there are couple other posts like this on Video Lectures. But I was wondering if anyone of you know where I can find video lectures for an introductory course in differential equations. If not, then non-video lecture notes following the book I am using...
Hi all,
I was just looking at some video lectures from MIT and was wondering if there were any other good online physics video lectures or programs around. Maybe it is possible to start some list of them (I think pretty much all of the links on the physics napster list above are text-based)...
Don't know how long these will be active, but they are interesting:

Hi ,
i am very eager to listen to feyman lectures on physics. i tried to listen to some at http://www.vega.org.uk/series/lectures/feynman/index.php .
But i could not , as there is some problem with the site.
So , can anyone suggest an alternate site or if anyone has the lectures with...
I'm having trouble understanding the calculus in the Feynmen Lectures (I'm only in grade 11). Do you think it's better for me to learn some calculus before continueing or just to try and get the general ideas and save details for later?
I'm in grade 11 physics, and I was wondering if I'd be able to get through the Feynman lectures without being totally confused. As a side questions, would those lectures give me an insight on a broad range of physics topics? That is what I'm looking for right now.
Hello everyone!
A question came up as I was reading Chapter 24 of the Feynman Lectures book. To more specific, it's the comments after Eq. (24.2) on the first section---called "the energy of an oscillator". I don't quite get it.
Thank you very much!
"Now let us consider the...
hi all,
I've been busy collecting the mp3's of the original tapes of Feynman lectures on physics during the 1960's. So far - using mainly Kazaa and dc++ - I've found nearly all the lectures of Volume 1 and 3. The lectures of Volume 2 are quite hard to find.
Does anyone here know a database...
I know this is a touchy subject these days.. but:
What are the specific rules for the distribution of the audio files and pdf encoded notes from the lectures of Feyman, Segal, Hawkings...etc. I came across a huge collection of these on the net (in the thousands) and was just wondering if I...
Anybody here knows the audio collection of the Feynman Lectures on Physics?
Anyway, I'm trying to find other audio/video resources on physics. Any recommendations?
