In summary: It's a humor that relies on absurdity and unexpectedness. It's not for everyone. Not a fan of surrealism, I take it?In summary, surrealism is an art form that relies on absurdity and unexpectedness, often producing incongruous imagery or effects. It may not be appreciated by everyone, but for those who do, it can be quite humorous.

A man came home from fishing today.
His wife left a note on the fridge: "It's not working, I can't take it anymore!! Gone to stay with my Mother!!!"

He opened the fridge, the light came on, and the beer was cold......... He asked himself:
"What the hell is she talking about??"

This requires context:

First of all, yes, it is a real pizza and no photoshop is involved. Second, there is a story attached. In 2020, a Swedish guy called Stellan Johansson got 10 kg of kiwis as a gift from his brother and the brother’s wife - who grew them themselves. Not knowing what to do with that amount of fruit, Stellan started trying kiwi in all sorts of cooking. Finally he brought kiwi to the local pizzeria and asked them to make a pizza Hawaii, but use his kiwi instead of pineapple. He had to ask three times before the staff understood what he wanted.

He took a photo and posted it on Facebook. It went viral.

Here is a contemporary summary from a Swedish news outlet (in Swedish): https://www.expressen.se/kvallsposten/stellans-pizza-blev-en-snackis-i-hela-varlden/

Sounds like a story of Nasreddin. The one listed on that page about the donkey is my favourite.

Fun fact: When pizza was first introduced in Sweden, it was typically listed under ”fish dishes” in finer restaurants as anchovies were the typical topping.

The french word for physics is la physique. So if @Greg Bernhardt was french, this would be a body building site.

Let's be honest. It's a taco that was forgotten to be folded.

Ha. Still, I like it better as the mind-building site that it is. Viva la PF.

The same holds in Swedish where both physics and physique are “fysik”. Before administration decided a university should not run a gym (nonsense, that place was probably the source of more cross-field collaboration than any seminar series) the work gym was called “förbättrad fysik” (improved physics/physique).

There comes a time when a woman just has to trust her husband... for example...
A wife comes home late at night and quietly opens the door to her bedroom. From under the blanket she sees four legs instead of two. She reaches for a baseball bat and starts hitting the blanket as hard as she can. Once she's done, she goes to the kitchen to have a drink. As she enters, she sees her husband there, reading a magazine. "Hi Darling" he says, "Your parents have come to visit us, so l let them stay in our bedroom. Did you say hello?
